SixthSense aims to give more freedom to the visually impaired by allowing them to avoid obstacles, orientate and navigate in the busy world. The information is received by a number of sensors carried by the visually impaired and translated to an understandable language through haptic feedback and bone conduction.
TIM Solutions is collaborating closely with HAN-University of Applied Sciences, NHL Stenden, the University Twente and Bartiméus to make a state of the art product for the visually impaired. Young talent are up to date with the latest technologies and are quick learners finding original and innovative solutions to complex problemens.
